It authorizes a producer to transact property, casualty, surety, marine, and health lines of insurance.
Under §626.112(4), F.S., a producer must hold an active appointment from an authorized insurer to transact that insurer’s business. Appointments may be held individually or through the producer’s agency, and a license lapses if the producer goes 48 months without one.
